This photo was taken in the day time. This photo is of a fried chicken business. this is a positive photo because african americans have a job and making money. If I could ask the photographer two questions i would ask if the people made a good living on making fried chicken, and i would ask if there was any white people worked there.

Photographer- Jack Delano
Date taken- May 1941

This photo is taken outside in a rual area during the day. There is a family of eight african americans in the photo. There ages range from about three years old to about fifty or sixty years old. There clothing is very ratty. This photograph is taken at a run-down home. The photo's tone is dark because the family is in deep poverty. If I could ask the photographer two questions i would ask what the family does for a living, and i would ask if the family was friends or neighbors with a white family. -Laura B
